Photography is one of my dear passions. It’s unique ’cause you can capture your most memorable moments and preserve it. There’s so much more that you can capture- the beauty of a photogenic vista, or a bird on the bough of a tree cherishing the sweet scenes of sunset. Photography- it’s an awesome form of art.

Today, I wanna share some of the tips I use to take good and interesting pictures with all of you, and I really do hope these tips are quite effective, as they have been for me :).

Some pictures I took on Canon EOS 1100D

Here they are-

  1. Avoid the use of strong filters. Reminisce the scene the way you saw it and remember it. I would recommend using monochrome, nostalgic sepia and cyan effects on the camera if you wanna give the moment an old-school vibe 😎or make it look different.
  2. Try taking pics in angles you have never used before, like taking a picture upside- down. Just tilt your camera completely and click. It will give the entire picture a new and cool effect.
  3. Any kind of place or landscape can make the best photo. Even a garden bench on a footpath, or a T-Shirt hanging in your cupboard can make an amazing picture. So try taking pictures of random things at different angles and see for yourself.
It’s a T-Shirt.

4. Use different modes of your camera for different scenes. I prefer using the landscape option on my camera for all sorts of scenes, but other modes are pretty great too, like- Portrait, Creative Auto, etc. For night portraits, try the night portrait mode.

5. When taking pictures of wildlife like birds and animals, zoom onto the animal/bird as much as possible, having a little bit of the surrounding seen. It gives great clarity on the subject of the photo.

It’s a butterfly in our garden.

6. Some out-of-focus photos make a really good portrait too. In fact, a completely blurry image can look quite curious and interesting, like this one I took here.

There was a construction of a building there.

7. Candid pics are always quite a marvel. It brings out the real ‘feeling’ of the person or the vista.

8. Whatever angle you use to click a photo, make sure that your subject of the photo is captured with deeply accurate clarity. Clarity is very crucial in photography.

Most of all, the prime aim of photography is to spread a message, or tell a story through an image you have captured. I hope to photograph scenes that have a hidden story to uncover for the world one day.

Well folks, these are the tips I use for taking good photos. I would love learn more, and let me know if you guys have any cool tricks to take amazing pictures. Adios!
